By looking at the very tools we use to assess the spiritual well-being of patients in palliative care, not only can we better discern the intricate conflicts faced by such patients, but importantly, take honest steps towards addressing them practically and respectfully.

This research developed and validated instruments to assess spiritual needs, identify met and unmet needs and to examine spiritual well-being in patients, as well to evaluate professionals’ attitudes toward spiritual and end-of-life care as tools to provided spiritual care to patiens in palliative care.”
